I ran across this incredible faux pas on Countryman & McDaniels website this morning. Just imagine being the one who had to make the phone call explaining this one... Be sure to scroll down for the story and photos; the website is a bit cluttered and hard to navigate.

I heard about this on the North Wales Coast Railway website; they're now loading the Class 70s on special trailers and shipping them on "ro-ro" (roll on-roll off) vessels to avoid further such accidents.
