What does the term "Drag Train" refer to? I have been reading in my back-issues of Trains magazines and came across a story about the Baldwin Centipede locomotives. In later years, the BP60's of the Pennsylvania Railroad were de-rated to 2500 hp, (BH50's) and paired back-to-back in Drag service. What exactly was Drag Service?
