I was down there tonight and the North Omaha Local came over! What a TRAIN!!! On the Point was and SD40-2 followed by a SD60 Standard cab. On the DPU was another SD60 Standard Cab! Hope to catch that in the daylight some time.

Glad to hear that. I always enjoy all of your photos of the Omaha/Council Bluff area and your trips to Plattsmouth.

I have not been in the Midwest since I moved out here from Chicagoland in 1991 and I have not visited my parents' Iowa homeland (Boone/Pilot Mound & Fort Dodge/Jefferson) since the late 70's. A pilgrimage out your way may be due the next year or two. It would have to be in the autumn, as I cannot endure your hot humid summers.
