Which stadium was bought by the TV station and remodeled? Union Station or the old Burlington station?

Burlington Station is the TV Station (Omaha ABC Affiliate KETV)
Union Station is the Museum (Durham Museum)

Burlington was stripped by an architectural salvage company in the 90's and is "New" inside. The Durham Museum is original on the main floor, its beautiful.

Nope. You have to come up to Missouri Valley anymore to catch the action it seems. I don't know anymore. the power all looks the same. All the cars are generic anymore. Almost isn't any fun to shoot film anymore.

I am becoming less and less interested in the locomotives and more interested in the scenery. That way it doesn't matter what the locomotives are. I would like all my photos to be more landscape photos with trains in them and not just train photos.

Some neat places I have found with cool scenery are:
West of Lincoln on the BNSF Ravana Sub
East of Red Oak on the BNSF
East of Logan on the UP.
Between Blair and Arlington on the UP
Between Fremont and Ashland on the BNSF Sioux City Sub.
South West of Lincoln on the BNSF (I think its the St Joe sub)

I had a slide collection of 135,000 railroad slides that spanned from the 50's all the way up to the mid 2000's. If you look at the images from just even 25 years ago and compare them to today, it's very obvious how generic railroads have become. You could look at a slide of about any rail yard and see 20-30 different roads on the rolling stock. Different type and styles of cars, etc. I know those days are gone, but I know boring when I see it. I think the most fun I have had trackside in the last 3 years was just sitting in the Depot in Cheyenne for half a day, daydreaming.
