Hey guys I have a interview set up for a ballast technician opening for Herzog But the interview is In Kansas City and I am in ND. I know there is alot of travel with the job but cant get anything out of them in the phone interviews about how much they pay. Any Idea?

Sure do, pay starts at 53,000 per year plus 125 a day per diem (rumor is it's going up to 175 or 200). Company truck that you pretty much use as your own on your days off minus taking vacations. You can pull a camper and take your family with you if you wish also. It's a good gig, if you stay in decent hotels and watch what you eat you can bank off of the per diem, thats what most of us do anyway. It's a great company that offers excellent insurance, Christmas bonus and much more. I love working here, we have excellent leaders and we're rewarded for our hard work. Hows the process going for you? It's pretty similar to that of the railroads.
