Originally built for the Florence and Cripple Creek Railroad by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1895. The loco was retired in 1949 and spent many years on display in a park in Durango, Co. The Durango Railroad Historical Society began restoration work in March 2001 and #315 moved under its own power for the first time in 57 years in August 2007.
On October 2nd, 2016 the locomotive worked from Chama, NM to Antonito, Co. in preparation for a charter train. This clip covers the climb up the 4% grade from Chama to the Cumbres pass.
