CSX SD40-2 number 8354. Need information.

A friend of mine spotted CSX SD40-2 number 8354 two days ago with the new boxcar logo on it and said the locomotive appeared to be recently rebuilt, it had the newer push button controlled brake wheel on it and also appeared to have a newer control stand in it, the cab is the standard EMD spartan cab. We are wondering if this is a new rebuild program for all the SD40-2's similar to the SD40-3 rebuilds and also there seems to be no recent SD40-3 rebuilds lately has that rebuild program ceased any informaiton would be greatly appreciated.

The SD40-3 program is currently on hold, though should resume at some point. They do continue to overhaul and upgrade SD40-2's in-kind however.

Another rebuild program which will center around 4 axle power is apparently in the works.
