Thursday my first stop was Cridersville where I could see a headlight on the horizion to the north. It was a autorack led by a vintange SD40-2. I took photos but was not pleased with how they turned out.
Before the end of the town had passed through the crossing I could see the D744 local coming south out of Lima. They had to wait outside of Cridersville before getting a restricted signal.

Next stop was the CF&E yard in Lima. Busy place on this day, a 3 loco CSX powered grain train, the CF&E switching crew and a GP40-2/Slug set on a rail train.

Lima's Cargill plant was loading a grain train using their repowerd Alco. I wish I could have filmed this!

Next I went to the I&O yard where I saw both the Southern Pacific paint locomotives building the LSL. My origional plan had been to got through Lima on my way to Deshler but I had not yet had the opportunity to film these running back to back.
Also working the I&O was their switcher crew using CFE 3884. I had not filmed this before so I was sure to get a shot this time!

The NS L74 crew made their usual run to the I&O and back. Ran light north and shoved a fair amount of cars back south.
My last stop was back to the CF&E yard. I barely made it in time to see the LIVW coming back in with both the ex DT&I GT locos. They had also stopped in Delphos and pulled a long string of boxcars out of storage. These had been stored since last march. I am adding a pic to the thread of the train coming through Van Wert last march also.
