A few weeks ago I saw what looked to be an older hopper in BNSF's Murray yard here in KC. It was blue and had a native american on it and in BIG letters "CREATIVE NATIVE". The only thing I can find on google is one picture and a small caption. Does anyone have any info on this?
It definitely catches your eye when you see it. That shade of blue is not a color you usually see on rolling stock. It looks like it may have been done without permission of the railroad and I'm surprised they didn't re-paint the car yet. It's been rolling around with that on it for a quite awhile now.
