CP ES44AC 8888 leading a n/b BNSF manifest on the Oregon Trunk Sub. Sunday afternoon (5/08/11).
I don't know the symbol for sure, but judging by the train makeup I'd say it's a BARPAS.
We rarely ever see CP power here on the OT Sub., and rarely if ever see foreign power leading, so catching a "cool" numbered CP unit leading was a nice treat.
I thought it was going to be BNSF SD70MAC 8888, which in itself would have been sweet, this one was 3x better.
Nice catch! You're doing better than me as I've yet to see 8888 even though I primarily railfan CP's southern Ontario service area.
