Coos Bay Rail Link's first revenue train should be running by Oct.10 according to The World.

This is excellent news....My Nephew is in the Coast Guard, and is stationed at Coos bay....Any Idea what the motive power is going to be...

I can chime in here on that. Last week In the Tacoma Rail yard there was a what looked to be freshly painted Coos Bay Rail Link SW-series (I think?) switcher #1203. I didn't have my camera on me, so wasn't able to snap a pic of it.

According to the CBR group on Yahoo the locomotive is a SW1200 ex-TMBL 1203; nee MP 1271. It is currently in Eugene waiting for payment to be made on shipping costs.
