Hi all. I thought I would join here to see how the world has changed since I have been gone. I have been a railfan most of my life growing up in Atwater, CA right on the SP trackage as a child. Spent a good 10-15 years railfanning in my youth (actually taking shots and video) during the 80s and 90s. I broke away for a while after living near Eureka, CA. Since the trackage up there washed out there really wasnt anything to look at. Then I spun off into co-founding a Radio Control Car group in Northern California. That didn't quite go as I wanted so now I am back. I spent the time in my youth railfanning ever railroad in CA, MT and careening through ID, Canada, AZ, OR and NV. Time to see how it has changed. Now that I live in Sacramento and only minutes from SPs Roseville Yard I think I have a good place to start. Thanks for letting me in, always good to have contact with others in the same interest group.
