Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard about the CN F unit destined to Squamish WCRA ,
The ex Waterloo & St Jacobs coach # 5569 has arrived this week.
update - noted in Winnpeg area - CN 6520 -- on a 300 series train

New one on me -- so anyone have a spare M420 .....thought they were all traded in on new GE s
Goes back a couple of years. BC Rail was retiring the last 3 M420s and offered one to WCRA, good working order, fresh from the road. At the time, whoever it was that was in charge of those decisions said, "thanks, but no thanks."

No , never heard that one - shame, would have loved a M420 to play with , we have a RS3 and an S3 so another Alco would have been a good play toy .

:pCprted: why the F$&K would your avatar be that god awful S-76 shithawk that I work on. C-GHJV?? This is a railroad forum, I come here to get away from the horrors of aviation, not be reminded of it.

You're probably a pilot. :p

LOL. Nope, not a pilot. BCAS Paramedic. ;)

Ohhhh, sorry I called you a pilot.

Keep up the excellent work. Stop by the hangar to talk trains for a bit if you have a chance. I almost only work day shift when I'm there.

Take care, and hope you're liking the C+'s

No worries. I would but it'll be a couple of years before they let me fly. :(

I'll probably be at "the jet" until we finish off our current contract so I'll see you around in the future. If you ever come by for orientation just ask if I'm there. I guess you have to wait for some of the high timers to retire? From what I understand an Air Ambulance Medic is a pretty choice gig.
