Chatsworth has two short line railroads running through it: The Bloomer Line and the TPW.

The Bloomer Line is a seasonal rail, so it mainly has trains at harvest season. They do run a GP9 commonly.

The TPW has about 1-2 trains a week.

Both railroads are very friendly, and will not go crazy about railfans. Also, the diamond for these railroads is in the middle of town.

(NOTE: To my knowledge, the signal in Chatsworth is broken, and always shows a red signal. I've seen trains go through all the time with the red signal on.)

Slightly out of town, going west to Fairbury, there is a semaphore signal. Not sure if it operates, but it looks pretty cool amid all the old, rusted out signals with the shattered bulbs.
