Bear Grylls probably did it
Yep thats just a few miles from my hometown. CMR is a pretty small railroad... I honestly don't know where they're going to find the money & resources to repair the trestle... hopefully they will find the money needed... I'd hate to see CMR & the Charlie Russel Chew Choo go under... I worked on the "polar express" version of the train several seasons back in high school- the train was sold out almost every single time.
Yea i've seen that episode... It's one of my favorite ones... Mainly because i know the areas he was in, which makes it hilarious because i can see just how rediculous he was (one part, where he had "no choice" but to repel down the middle of a waterfall, there is a maintained hiking trail that follows that drainage & was probably less than 1/4 mile from his location. And that cabin he stayed in where he supposedly was concerned about bears? Theres maybe a few black bears there, but thats about it- griz country is another 100 miles to the west).
It was also fun talking to Carla about that episode (she happened to be the engineer on the train that Bear Gryls was running from)
anyways, enough of my endless yacking...
man he is stupid u don't i emphaize YOU DO NOT try to out run a train
