Was told recently by a friend that the Camden & Southern has a 'new' unit...an old EMD SW1.
Curious if they own it or if its just a lease? Has anyone seen any pictures?
Ron S.
This operation is owned by the same folks who own the Dardanelle and Russellville Railroad. The SW1's are former D&R engines.
Jeff
No...as I understand it, this one came from outside the D&R family. Possibly from a dealer in Illinois.
We bought it. Will be repainted to company orange and yellow and numbered 22. Attaching picture with CSR 20 - SW-9 ex OUCH 63 taken by John Reagan in background.
Tim Robbins
Thanks Tim...can't wait to see it in orange and cream.
