At last I have got round to posting pictures of the A4 Pacifics that have returned to Britain on tour. 60008 Dwight D. Eisenhower is from the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin seen here at Locomotion Museum in Shildon, County Durham, England on October 24th, 2012.

The other A4 Pacific on loan is 60010 Dominion of Canada, preserved in Canada, seen here alongside. This looks to be in poorer condition with a large dent in the front.

Running trips on the same day is sister locomotive 60009 Union of South Africa which has been based here in the UK during preservation (and, of course, its working life)
