BNSF H3 C40-8W 932 NB on the BNSF OT Sub. 5-15-11

BNSF C40-8W 932 in the H3/Swoosh scheme is the trailing unit on the BNSF 5411 North that tied down in Bend, OR, at 3:15pm Sunday afternoon.

Looks nice and shiny in the rain.

Sorry, I don't know the train symbol.

It's the H BAKPAS4 and will be on the H PASDIL9 sometime on the 16th.

Jason - how many of these are still on the BNSF roster? I know they sold a bunch to CN - for some reason I thought they cleared them all out.

800-866, 879 and the 911 are those which are off the BNSF roster.

We still have a bunch stored while some are being reactivated for revenue svc.

Here they are rolling through Maryhill, WA at 20:42 on 16 May.

The headlights gave just enough light to keep the shutter speed high enough for a good capture of the lead unit. I wasn't so lucky with the Dash 8. All in all not too bad, considering it was getting dark.

The 932's fresh paint nicely reflects the status light from the track side of the control box. The red glow of the warning light is just barely visible above the walkway step.
