Saturday, October 10, 2014, along the BNSF Bellingham Subdivision brought strong winds and rain. BNSF 4882 leads a mixed consist train northbound just beyond the Bellingham station.
The next morning, the weather cleared and the usual beautiful fall skies returned. Running on time, Amtrak 513, the Mt. Olympus Cascade train comes down from Vancouver, BC and makes a brief stop at Bellingham.
At 10:30 AM, PDT, the northbound Amtrak 510, the Mt. Baker Cascade train arrives 30 minutes late after leaving Seattle.
The waterfront teems with life and a sea otter goes fishing to find breakfast for her pups that are hidden between the rocks. BNSF 6561 makes the northbound trek to Vancouver, BC, with a mixed consist.
