Its almost here...the Big Texas train Show at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Hall A(toward Minute Maid Park)...the action starts Saturday morning at 10. Doors close at 5 on Saturday and reopen at 10 on Sunday.

All the volunteers you see will be helping the Houston Railroad Museum make this year's event a success. 75 commercial vendors and 30 non-commercial exhibitors will fill the hall with lots of railroading activity.

If you've been thinking about that "land cruise" to Alpine(Big Bend Country) by overnight train, there will be detailed Amtrak schedules, activity schedules for the Big Bend area and you can talk to individuals who have made the trip and who can tell you how much fun it is.

Bring the little kids to the train show too...we'll have a toddler area full of toys and a push pedal train to ride. And door prizes every hour.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
