I got my TRAINS magazine today, and found a picture of freshly repainted F7s ATSF 315 & 316. The article says they are owned by the Galveston RR Museum, rebuilt by Motive Power & Equipment Solutions, Inc., and they saw service on SP; Wellsville, Addison, & Galeton; & commuter trains in Pittsburgh & Connecticut. Are these the same F7s that were flooded by the hurricane & slated to go to scrap? If so, these also served the Louisiana & North West RR for many years after the WAG had them. I'm hoping for good news about this.....

Well that royally bites Mark! :( I did a lil more research, remembering that one of our old F-units was sitting dead in one of the Carolinas. I found LNW 48 on the WCLR (Waccama [sp?] Coast Line) on Railpics.net. In one of the pics, the photographer posted that the F-units in the shot were gone now. He didn't state what "gone" meant. The 48 looked REALLY rough in the end, but could this be it? If not, then which one(s) are they?
