Not to be picky but can you give us a little more information? Which Amtrak train is this and where is it coming from and going to? Using Amtrak web page I can't get any information on P-098.

Well, I know it's been out east since they released it from Beech Grove, but I'm with Captain82 on this. How about saying where (city & state) you saw it? Sure would make it easier on those of us who haven't memorized all of Amtrak's train symbols.

From all the photos on RRPA today, it looks like it's in Florida currently.

Sorry for not giving more info but I had to get back to work. P-098 runs from Tampa, Fl to Wasington DC

There's some photos of it in the "Past 24 hours" section on railpictures.net. Looks like it was last seen in Texas.

It is on the NB Texas Eagle, train 22. Should be approaching Longview, TX now. If you know what train it's on, you can get updates on arrival times via Amtraks website.

It seems that it's in Los Angeles now from looking at the latest photos on railpictures.net. Maybe it'll come to Seattle next on the Coast Starlight and leave Seattle on the Empire Builder?

I saw on the LocoNotes Yahoo Group on Sunday that Heritage Unit 822 in Phase III has been released.

Does anyone know where this unit is? I heard that a few days ago it was at the 8th street yard in LA for repairs. Any updates??

As far as I know it is stell there having is plaw fixed and some paint work done from the train vs car wreck it had when it was on the Sun Set
