Heads Up ALL !!
Thanks to the very kind efforts of
SP 4449 steam volunteer Chris Fussel.
You can see the LIVE LOCATION of
Amtrak Train 11 (Friday 4-8-11) as it
makes the Bakersfield -- Tehachapi --- Mojave---LA Detour.
This is updated about every 5 MINUTES.

As I post this, Train 11 is moving at 13 MPH at north Madera, CA at 1:41 PM

OK it looks like Train 11 DEPARTED BAKERSFIELD as of 4:32 PM Friday 4-8-11.
This should put the TLOOP ETA at 5:50PM to 6:15 PM at WALONG siding.
This is depending if they get an unopposed run up the mountain (how fast they go).
The LAUPT -- LAX eta should range from about 9 PM to 9:40 PM depending how things go
