I was watching KOMO-TV news earlier this morning and they happened to share images of AMTK 470 in a new King Tut paint scheme to promote the Pacific Science Center's King Tux exhibit outside of King Street Station. KOMO-TV posted close up images and videos of the recently repainted locomotives. This morning, AMTK 470 was leading Amtrak Cascades Train #510 and should be coming back this evening on Train #517. Passengers that are lucky enough to have 470 on their trainset will receive a discount towards their visit to the King Tut exhibit. This should probably give me a good reason to head out soon and get some photos and videos.
