I'm working on a project, and could really use some photos of the GE AC6000/4400 convertible locomotives. I'm trying to find shots of the roof area, which is one of the few spots that is different on a FDL-equipped unit. Every photo I find online seems to be a side-on or roster shot, of which I already have many.
Any help or leads would be great. Thanks.
Not a whole lot of roof details with these, but every little bit helps.
Here's another one from the archives.

Yes, and what looks like a periscope in the water as well in the same photo. Maybe a BNSF submarine getting ready to torpedo the train...

Thanks for the photos so far.
Does anybody else have any more photos?
Thanks for the ones so far.

Thanks for the photos and leads. I am really looking for the 4400hp version of the AC6000. The roof area is pretty much the only visible difference that I am aware of.
I am currently drawing up and then building from the ground up, 2 GE AC6000CW locos in 1/7 scale and painted up in the colours of the AWVR locos from the movie. Currently I am partly through building a 1/6 scale model of the Queensland Rail diesel tilt train all of these to run on 7.25" track. I have drawings of all of these if anybody is interested for whatever scale you are building. I have the frequencies of the tilt train country horns as well.
