Great Pictures! A beautiful, clean part of the country. What is carried in the Td's behind the 139-313? Tom
Wonderful photos! I really need to get back to Germany, I haven't visited in over 10 years.
@Tom: lime and other dry bulk freight.
Lovely set of pics in a very nice part of Germany.
See if you can get some pics in Wolfsburg!
I have only two photos from Wolfsburg. This place isn´t photogenic. But why Wolfsburg? Wolfsburg looks like a ghost town.

The Autostadt (Carcity)

And a "Ludmilla".
Reason I thought Wolkfsburg is actually the "VW" private railway inside. It is I think the largest operation of its kind in Europe.
I have been on a tour of the VW plant and saw part of it and it looked interesting and something not photographed - they generally do not allow photographs.
I asked after the tour about the possibility of coming back for a railway photographic tour, and they were a bit surprised at this, but felt that it could be arranged if done in advance...... A VW contact would probably also help!
Have not been back to Hannover since then so have not tried.
So if it is on your doorstep.......!
Hello Kevin,
VW has got a big privat railway net inside the plant. But in Fallersleben the trains from the VW-Werk will end there. From Fallersleben DB Schenker takes over the transport. But it give bigger privat railways, like the OHE (East Hanover Railway), VPS (Verkehrsbetriebe Peine-Salzgitter, big steal companie), etc with her own railway network.
Yes in Germany we have got a lot of problems with China and industrial espionage. In many chinese electronics products you will find german technology. The economic damage can be imagined. In many large firms, there are strict safety guidelines. VW, MAN, Deutsche Bahn, etc.
"Have not been back to Hannover since then so have not tried."
I do not know what you wanted me to say this sentence. I can not translate it into german (My english is not the best). And google translator too.
Here is the sentence -
Ich habe nicht in der Lage, wieder nach Deutschland zurückkehren, so dass ich nicht in der Lage, es zu besuchen.
Does that make sense? I hope so! I used Google Translate!
Yes that is better, google translator show me this:
Haben Sie nicht zurück in Hannover seit damals so noch nicht ausprobiert haben.
But now I unterstand your sentence!
