What is the Minimum Radius they woud take the 844 on? If it matters, it would be at yard speed?
The segment of track I am looking at is about a 400' radius for more than 90 Degrees. (The Train Would start out going north and come out of the curve going South West).
12-13 degrees maximum curvature.
Thanks for the info. I re-measured the curve and it looks like its 11 Degrees...
So now I have no idea why they are building a new track in Omaha just to display the 844 for 2 weeks when there is a perfectly good spur a block away...
