7:30am Thursday 7/28:
One-of-a-kind BNSF yellow-swooshed ES44DC 7695 is one of two DPU's on a southbound manifest waiting for a crew in Bend, OR. Lead unit is 5217 (and running 2x2). The 7695 is the lead DPU, and is nose-to-nose with an H2 Dash-9.
I know this unit has been around for awhile, and is not that interesting any more, but it is the first time I've seen it, and last year I custom-painted one for RRF user "warrenroot", so it was nice to finally see it in person.
And the BNSF was nice enough to stop it where I could actually get decent shots in the nice morning light (will post a photo when I get home tonight).
