I have been doing some research on N&W's Y6b 2-8-8-2 steam locomotives. I have been able to find most of the information I have been looking for regarding the locomotives themselves. However, I have found little, if any, information on the 22-i Tenders. I was hoping that someone out there might be able to supply some information regarding these tenders or point me to a source that I can research. I'm mainly interested in the physical attributes of these tenders (such as length, width, height, weight, capacities, etc.) as well as clarification as to the company that actually built these units (was it N&W themselves at the Roanoke Shops or someone else?). Thanks for any help and information folks may be able to provide.
