I decided to spend a few hours in Tacoma Saturday although the weather was not the greatest. After not seeing a coal train in 4-5 weeks I was happy to catch one. I was surprised by the one I saw. It had a CP on the point and the first DPU was also a CP. A BNSF ES44C4 and a dash 9 rounded out the power. I've seen foreign power on coal trains through Tacoma before, but this was my first with CP power. Most of the cars were BNBX.
