I am suprised that there are not more Eastern Railfans? Any Ideas why not?

There is probably no single factor, but this forum has generally always been very midwest and western-centric, which is understandable since many of the original and current members are from the western half of the country. Because of that, threads in the Eastern US section of the forum don't get nearly the attention or comments that the other sections do. Because of that, a lot of members from the Eastern US simply stopped visiting or at least stopped posting. I too was frustrated with it at one time, but then I just got to the point where I didn't care. I was going to post whether the threads saw any responses or not.
