MRL SD35 #701 makes a rare (as far as I can tell) appearance on the BNSF, passing through Vancouver, WA, on the PASTAC. At first I thought it was a plain old SD40 until I saw the number. How many SD35's are running around in mainline service today?
MRL SD35 #702 at Laurel Yard. MRL uses its SD35's in Laurel for yard switching, usualy w/ an RC caboose coupled to them so they can be operated by RC controlers (i'm not quite sure what the advantage of RC switching is over switching w/ someone in the cab; safty, maybe?)
