Two examples of geeps placed into a remanufacturing program. A matched set of GP22ECO's, KCS 2811 and KCS 2810, rest next to a matched set of GP16's working the intermodal yard, PREX 1601 and PREX 1600.
UP SD70ACE #8363 East leads an hot intermodal train eastbound from Brooklyn Yard to Chicago, IL. It is rather rare that I got to pace a train eastbound out of Portland leaving Brooklyn Yard. Union Pacific has made Brooklyn Yard strictly an intermodal facility while Albina is going to handle...
After a crew change at Husky, then waiting at East Pasco for an inbound Manifest to clear Main 2, BNSF 7447 finally pulls this stacker out of the Columbia basin, only to get overtaken by an empty grainer on Main 1. Definitely not a high priority Z-train!

UP #7870 is leading this hotshot train headed to points east of The Dalles, Ore. This train has 3 locomotives up front in addition to a locomotive on the rear helping this train make track speed past my location at MP69, near Mosier, Ore.
UP #8641 was just cruising by when I thought of trying for a reflection shot.. What do you guys/gals think of this one??

What is probably CN 101 is seen moving through over land on this brisk November morning. I didn't catch the units, as I was looking for my lost scanner, which I did not find.
After losing my Scanner, CN 199 came through with a nice mixed consist. After that, I went back to the house before the ghosts came out! This could be CN 111 or 115. But he runs with the 2406, who I spotted on 346 days before, so this probably came from Chicago.
