I thought bridges like this were either a thing of the past or only used on Lionel layouts. This was taken from I-94 while in Chicago on the 28th of April.
The headlights on CN 5736 shine brightly as it readies it's self to cross the South Saskatchewan river. The SD75i was trailed by a C40-8M. But alas, I didn't get the number.

Going past the Sunday afternoon railfans at Kentucky Street, UP's MMEEWX 29 heads out of town with UP 4602 on the point. Those new condos are sure making the hangout space tight near the tracks.
A close-up view of UP's Harahan Bridge which was built in 1916. The ramp structure on the side was used by automobiles before 1950. The structure was covered with wooden blanks which, so I've been told, made for an interesting trek across the Mississippi.

View off of the bridge facing west toward Munroe Falls, Ohio. The siding to the limestone company is the third track to the left. The middle track is currently closed for maintenance 2 1/2 miles east of here.
Here is a view off of the top of the 50-foot-high bridge I mentioned in my last picture. Beware, there are several pictures taken from here. Note there are no handrails on this side of the bridge.
