    I had been wanting to see and hear one of these since they came into production. On 11/23/04 I got my wish. The 5699 and the 5697 came in on a MSKPB and parked at the roundhouse in Pine Bluff. Even though the skies were grey, this unit still stood out.

    The sun shines down on a grand ol' set of power. The McGehee Local (LWS55) uses this for their power. This was the only time the sun came out. The man upstairs saw it fit for the sun to shine down on the best railroad there was in the US.
