It took me five photos to get this right. Apparently CBNS has won a contract to move some heavy machinery, as this is by far not the usual load. A couple days ago I saw the tractors tires and plow on a flatcar, photo incidentilly shot on the same train at roughly the same time and the same spot...
Once this was an IC GP40, but then CN sold it and LLPX made it into a GP38-2. Oddly 2259 looks different then the 2269 whom its leading:

Two LLPX GP38-2's (2269 & 2259) lead a trio of HATX SD45-2's (910, 907, 912) over the marsh. Do to heavy grades this is not uncommon, especially with 30+ cars.
The rear of a CBNS freight turns a curve as the train drives on the fine line under the hill and above the marsh that leads into the ocean. If you look carefully you'll see a road in the top left corner, I've railfanned that spot before; here is the other view of the same curve...
With three HATX SD45-2's in HATX paint running on the CBNS (910, 907 & 914) I was under the impression that they all look the same. I had to see them side by side to be proven wrong by myself.

Coal heading west from Cape Breton. Since coal isn't mined there anymore do to high labour costs and the lack of willpower to use our own resources, this coal is imported from South America and then reloaded from ships.

This is how bulkhead cars are loaded in Antigonish, NS. A truck drives by and unloads its cargo.

A CBNS E/B is met by a crew of city workers/contractors/RR workers (not sure which one) who were mowing the trackside grass! Needless to say they had to move. Note that the huge lash-up with 3 SD45-2's was lead by a GP15-1! One of the big boys, HATX 914 was recently released from the shops after...
Probably one of the most common lesor units of all time - EMD Leasing/GATX/LLPX GP38-2. CBNS has two of them on lease and this is the cleaner one! Leading a HATX SD45-2 and 9 tankers. Note the waterbottles on the hood.

When there isn't a lot of traffic it's possible to see a pure tanker train on CBNS like this one. That doesn't happen often however as ussually in addition to the tankers there are coal cars, scrap gondolas, hoppers and boxcars!
The asphalt you see in the foreground is the former VIA station...
What we have here is the bell, some fuel lines and the usual rust. Not bad for an ex-Conrail Geep, currently lettered LLPX and working for CBNS.
The photo was taken from a street which leads into the station, which is now a museum, so no trespassing.
HATX 910 & LLPX 2259 (SD45-2 & GP38-2) lead a short train on the edge of town. The building with a pointy roof in the backround is the station. As you can see the track curves a lot.
GEXR 4022, a GP40u leads a lash-up of 5 units through town. It's the only locomotive on the railway that is not leased except for the Railink switchers. The rest are leased from HATX & LLPX.
