    Curious as to how you accesed that perspective as I see old Route 66 in the background and the eastbound main to the right. Any security problems and is their a dirt road available? Did you hoof it? Great shot.

    Luckily, as a kid, rode in and out of this station a lot. always wondered what it looked like when new as by the 50s it was pretty grimy. But the restoration corrected that. Iconic photo of an icon.

    Used to watch the MKT F's as they came through St Charles, MO in the early 70s. Those 567s sounded so sweet as they transitioned through the notches.
