Rocky's missing, oh, sorry, wrong era. The dome was built to store bauxite ore from ships for loading into railcars and transit to the Alcoa plant at Malaga, WA. It is mentioned in an old GN GOAT magazine.
Kind of reminds me of the movie "Moon Over Parador", but appears to be closer to Richmond Beach, Washington along Puget Sound if those are Chevron asphalt tankers. Great shot!
