    Looks like a load/empty sensor for when the brakes are applied. These things are a great benefit as they can limit the amount of air put into the cylinder during heavy brake applications. Wheels are a lot less likely to skid with these, when they are working properly

    Animals do fine sitting in the fields all winter. I've heard from some of the old guys at work that the animals were treated better than the employees. The railroads were more than happy to get rid of them.

    Milage markers with decimal points are used to pinpoint an exact location. Used for bridges, switches etc.

    Delta Jct. is at Portage La Prarie not Gladstone. Also, those approach signals and home signals at the diamond are in service. They are apporoach lit and don't come on until you are almost at them.

    560/561 is the train that goes to Watrous and turns around and does the majority of the work between Saskatoon and Watrous. 520, depending on the day, will work the Watrous sub east as well, doing Cargill and Agrium at Clavet. 582 is still working as well. I'm not sure whether its 520...
