    Westbound grainers over Stevens Pass.....

The grade is the same both are 2.2%, the BNSF is still getting over the numerous derailments they had last month. Also traffic has picked up quite a bit the last few weeks..

Just a few questions about DPUs

They are run remotely, can be run in connection or separately from the leader. Most railroads all tested remotes of some type in the 70's but I do believe CP Rail was the first to use them consistently. As for the differences between the EMD's and GE's, the GE's are more reliable, and like...

Stackups on the BNSF Northwest Division

I see what they're talking about Martin, just watching as the BNSF grind to a hault.. And the best part, its going to get a lot worst in the next few months and then I can say, " see how short sided the BNSF is JUST to keep the UP from running on Stampede!!", till then I'm snickering to myself.

    Ridley Terminal Coal Train

The CP is buried, the company took the quits away, the weather has been playing havoc and they've extremely power short.. We've been detouring grain trains for the last couple weeks..

    Ridley Terminal Coal Train

Hmmm, so do all the work at Auburn? If they ran the trains over Stevens the inspections and power swap could be done at Thorton Yard. With that being said, I'll bet the empties go back over Stampede, the gorge is a mess and its going to get worst over the summer..

I didn't say anything about loading and unloading times or did I mention anything about fuel, those are running times from point to point. And only from...

Loaded Grain Trains Returning to the Scenic Sub

I do applicate your nice commits Ross, but as an engineer with a lot of pride, I can't figure why the BNSF crews need a mentor all the time.. But don't get me wrong I'd love to have both of their jobs!! LOL! Also, I'm jabbing about the grainers on either Stevens or Stampede, at least the BNSF is...

Loaded Grain Trains Returning to the Scenic Sub

YA YA YA, and I can fly!! LOL! The BNSF is going to have to do something, they're about at capacity on the Fallbridge now, and the new grain terminal at Longview opens in three to four months and AGP's expansions will be finished the third quarter, I see gridlock by this fall...
