Listening to the BNSF radio in the Everett area daily,
I kept hearing the "J-train" mentioned without knowing
what train it was. Well I caught up with a dead "J-train"
at Lowell. This eastbound empty "hi-wide" train spent
several hours working at Mulilteo made that long by
BNSF 4588 having...
BNSF has been running the "priority empty trains" over Stevens
because the 120-125 car trains only weigh about 3500 tons.
Empty trains can get over Stevens with ease with 3-4
big GE's.
I dont see any trains a day...I want to but I "cant get there anymore".

PSSV 121 brings the Puget Sound & Snoqualmie Valley passenger train into the depot at Snoqualmie WA in 1992. This engine has been repainted in its original Weyerhauser yellow and
renumbered #1.

to bring into Bellingham for movement to Seattle
and the SNC in 1980.
Delta-Alaska Terminal no.1 Baldwin DS-4-4-6 was
destined to the Seattle & North Coast RR in 1980.
Once acquired it was painted as North Coast Lines
no.51 in Northern Pacific style and got involved in legal action because of the paint scheme. Spent
little time on the SNC before moving on...
