Honey, this doesn't look like Salinas

The southbound Coast Starlight is over ten hours late after a detour over the Oregon Trunk at Gibson, California. A tunnel fire in Oregon's Cascades necessitated the reroute. The UP locomotive on the point was added at Portland due to the cab signal system in the Columbia River Gorge. Next...

Interesting - ATSF train 18 would be the combined El Capitan/Super Chief. Although this train has two big warbonnet FP45s, the three coaches directly behind the power are odd. You have to wonder if this section of the train was a special move, such as bringing Boy Scouts back from New Mexico.
