    At cp286 at the western end of DeWitt yard. Had things to do in Syracuse so a perfect time to get some railfan time before and after. A couple of interesting to me catches. A Intermodal with a lot of spine cars....I know, but I like them. Two Manifests with DPU's :)

    That afternoon there were wind and flood warnings everywhere & there were speed restrictions all along the CSX Main This video was Weedsport (mp312) and Brutus ( mp309 Pump Road ) where a couple of CSX trains went thru....slowly First a west bound LONG trash train with DPU, A Amtrak at Tow Path...

    Starts out when I had to stop for a NYS&W working a siding in Cortland. THE moved up to East Syracuse around mp285 on the Western end of the CSX DeWitt Rail Yard. Couple of interesting trains there....

    When I first was rail fanning CSX I rarely saw EMD's anywhere other than in the yards switching. But then the sd70ac rebuilds started to show up and now what used to be rare is really common now. This is a typical sample :)

    A Really long over 800 axle CSX Manifest

    CSX X409 West Bound with 416 axles , until it had to stop and cut out a car on the other side of town (This at MP280 Kirkville , They stopped at MP298 Blocking a cross road, had to split the train cut out a car, reconnect and go..... BUT I got them here with ALL the cars :)

    This one has a SUPER long Auto rack with a Lead & DPU AND A Lashup Of BNSF, Montana Rail Link & Amtrak

    Lot's of interesting stuff in this one. A REAL busy day on the CSX Main line. This is AFTER the Baltimore disaster and I have to wonder if re-routing and other issues are part of the reason for the increased traffic.
