WP caboose

This shot was taken on K64 slide film in August 1982. The caboose had been refurbished and repainted recently. The train it was on, was the local out of Stockton California, on the Tidewater Southern. The TS was owned by the WP and used WP equipment. The TS was a busy little railroad, even during a recession. I lived in the apartments you see behind it, at the time with my wife of six months. Funny thing is, she picked out the apartment and I didn't argue. After all these years, we are still married, but glad to have moved up in the world and away from those apartments.
