Winter Revisited in Emmet

The morning was cold and crisp and my hunting successes were nill. After braving the cold tree stand and having my fingers numb to the cold chill, I stepped down and left my sister's farm for home. While passing through Emmet, MI I saw an IC unit in the spur to the elevator. The crew climbed aboard and tried to start the unit up. I was pressed for time and did not stay to chat. Later when I returned again from bow hunting that same day a westbound CN train was picking up the IC unit for tow to Battle Creek.
