Poles

A Norfolk Southern hotshot rolls through the Columbus,Ohio Suburbs Saturday, April 16, 2004. Code lines still follow the tracks here, harkening back to an era when PRR steamers roamed the line.
Ken would feel right at home there! :) Nice shot. I've been along that stretch myself.

Most of the poles trackside here have long since had their lines taken but the poles and insulators still remain. I have a couple of boxes of them in the attic awaiting some forlorn project I had imagined using them for.
