Really? I've seen mixed trains with dozens of these things. Guess it's not too safe to be around them.
 
Nothing really dangerous about molten sulfur, since it's almost solidified and significantly cooled once loaded in the tank. In fact once it reaches the customer the tank must be steam-heated in order to liquify the sulfur for unloading.
