No snow on the ground but at least an ICE!

On the last day of the year 2002 a class 406 ICE train set of the DB passes near my home town Renswoude the Netherlands.

Although no snow on the ground it still was bitter cold that afternoon. Despite the almost clear blue sky in the background, the sun came from behind the clouds for just a few hours that day.
Alas that the FRA in the US has deemed that "no passengers may ride in the forward power car of a Tier II passenger train"...we missed out on this beauty gracing our rails...
