Navigational Aid

Some times the lack of trains almost make up for it in the shot... almost that is. On the day before of the Port Huron to Mackinaw Yacht Race (There was an Austrailian boat in it) many of the boats in the race are lashed and docked in the Black River in Downtown Port Huron. As I took the shot I wondered if someone out there has a photo of an old Pere Marquette 2-8-0 going over the bridge heading for Bad Axe, Mi. This bridge has not moved since the late 70's. Now it is just a monument to the fading days of railroading in downtown Port Huron. For this will be the last year for the ex-PM (CSX) yard by the river.
