Mohawk Adirondack & Northern is a unique Empire state shortline in that their entire roster is made up of ex-BCOL ALCOs, still wearing BC Rail two tone green - almost 20 years after leaving Western Canada.

Two original Erie Lackawanna C425s are the only power assigned to Utica, #2456 & #805 still not re-numbered from BCR days. Two more C425s & two M420Ws make up the rest of the roster, based out of Scranton, NY near Buffalo.

The other oddity at Utica is NYSW 3636, ex-BN F45, surrounded by MNR FL-9s 2007 & 2019, serving as part donors for Adirondack Scenic 1508 & 1502, Alaska F7A and MNR F10 respectively.
